Volunteer: Training of Teachers (TOT)

In 2015, the Imperative Initiative for Motivation of Global Care (IIMGC) expressed its keen interest to participate in strengthening Child inclusion for Education and proposed its interest to partner with the various local schools and relevant Government schools who are providing special education for children with special needs. To help the proposed schools to advance its main goal and promote education, health and entrepreneurship while accelerating progress on the SDGs and related goals for child inclusion and sustainable development. IIMGC wish to participate in development efforts and have clear advocacy interventions that push for more inclusive and responsive public policy and practice.

THIRD WORLD

We understand that after working in big cities in excellent facilities and steady electricity it would be a challenge to work in communities that do not have all of these facilities.

But remember this challenge is for the benefit of our very deprived women and children who urgently need our assistance in education, skill training, health care, WASH, Agriculture etc. Indeed this task is not an easy task at all, however it gives one the utmost feeling of satisfaction and great pride to be a part of someone’s dream to become a doctor, nurse, teacher etc. Most of the children are really smart, some of them wish to grow up and become teachers so they can also impact in their communities, "isnt it something" !!

CUT OFF FROM CIVILIZATION

The people you are about to meet are living in isolation, cut off from much of the world. Millions of individuals living in the third world countries around the world are deprived of livelihood, social necessities and health care especially Micre-Credit Support.

Most people, although willing to help, are unable to, as traveling to far away remote villages/regions to reach out or to facilitate development is an impractical and also an unattractive option for them. Here are practical resons why the locals find it difficult to support humanitarian service as follows:

In Africa, there is a culture of one man carrying all the financial responsiblity including those of healthy strong and adults as a sole bread winner of the family. Being their brothers' keeper, this status puts heavy responsibility on their shoulder so there is no room for any cash commitment to other engagement.

Teachers training is urgently Needed:We need volunteers who would be able to give the teachers some additional training in teaching young children living with disabilities.

Volunteers Forum: We also have teachers forum which brings together the entire educated community in discussing, fine-tuning, and improving the project and management. Use this platform to discuss various pedagogical resources and the efficacy methods and materials. This service is essentially about mobilizing resources. The discussions generated by the experiences of all the members will serve us to understand what works and what does not, what materials and methods are more effective. Schedule & Durations period with be in the morning, afternoon and evening classes, volunteers will be required to apply online or by mail, we provide a new level of learning, creativity, and even a bit of fun to entertain and create a feeling of wellness and family.

Experience:

No experience is required you will be giving a quick easy training when you arrive.

You can also contribute by spreading our NGO network via social media e.g. FACEBOOK, DIGG, STUMBLEUPON, MYSPACE, TWITTER, GOOGLE+ BUZZ, BLOGS AND WEBSITES etc. Volunteers will encourage major trusted companies for sponsorship. WHY VOLUNTEER ?

TERMS

Terms of why you have to pay us to volunteer for us, our organization benefits on volunteer program fees and labour to sustain its numerous activities, more especially the administrative costs, transporation, portable water and feeding during programs and trainings. The program fee also goes towards providing you room, portable water, breakfast and lunch while you are volunteering with us.

CHALLENGES

We are totally running on self funded costs, our most challenges are on administrative costs, program vehicles for our needs, activities such as staff bus, staff cars, salaries, marketing expenses. Most people, although willing to help, are unable to, as traveling to far away remote villages/regions to reach out or to facilitate development is an impractical and also an unattractive option for them.

Poverty in the Sub-Saharan Africa is a known fact, there are still challeges even amongst the business owners and workers in the society. In this part of the world the culture demands that once a member of a familly is well to do, its assumes that he/she should be responsible of the rest of the family.
